Shipping from Savannah: how it works today

We pick up in metro Atlanta only. From Savannah, you get your cargo to us and we handle everything from there to Ghana.

✈️ Air freight (boxes, electronics, documents)

Ship your boxes to our Atlanta warehouse by UPS, FedEx or USPS, addressed to Volta Haul Shipping Co., c/o your name. We fly them to Accra.

🚢 Ocean freight (barrels, appliances, heavy goods)

Barrels and heavy goods: drop them off at our Atlanta warehouse (or our Savannah warehouse by appointment), or send them to our Atlanta warehouse with a freight carrier. We don’t pick up outside metro Atlanta yet.

🚗 Vehicles

Operable cars with no exterior damage can ship RoRo from the port nearest you; we handle the booking and paperwork. To ship a car in a container, it must be delivered to our Atlanta warehouse.

How It Works — Savannah to Ghana

Savannah sits on the Georgia coast, about 4 hours by road from our Atlanta consolidation hub. Drop off at our Savannah warehouse on Carolan Street by appointment — call (678) 448-6610 to book a time (we don’t offer pickup in Savannah) — and we handle export documentation, ocean or air consolidation, and Ghana customs clearance.
