Only with container shipping. RoRo vessels require the vehicle to be empty — no personal items inside the car, no loose items in the trunk. Container shipping allows you to pack goods inside the vehicle up to a reasonable weight.
You need the original vehicle title (lien-free), a valid government-issued ID, and the EPA/DOT compliance form. VoltaHaul prepares the bill of lading and all other export documentation.
RoRo takes 14–21 days from port departure to arrival at Tema Port. Container shipping takes approximately 30 days. Add 3–5 days for customs clearance at Tema Port before your recipient can collect the vehicle.
The vehicle must be operational (able to drive on and off the vessel for RoRo), free of excessive fuel (under ¼ tank), and have no major fluid leaks. Inoperable vehicles can be shipped in a container with prior arrangement.
Yes — we can arrange vehicle pickup from your US address and transport it to the departure port. Pickup fees apply and vary by distance. Alternatively, you can drive the vehicle directly to the port.
