Our Story

VoltaHaul is a US-to-Ghana freight company that ships barrels, boxes, electronics, and vehicles by ocean and air from drop-off locations in Atlanta and Savannah, with customs clearance handled at Tema Port and Kotoka Airport.

VoltaHaul was founded by Ghanaian diaspora members based in Atlanta, Georgia, who experienced firsthand the frustrations of shipping personal cargo — barrels, boxes, electronics, and vehicles — from the US Southeast back home to Ghana.

For too long, the process involved multiple brokers, unclear pricing, lost items, and zero visibility once cargo left US shores. We knew there had to be a better way.

So we built VoltaHaul — a single, trusted partner that handles every step of your shipment door to door, from our hubs in Atlanta and Savannah all the way to your family's door in Ghana.
